Hi,

This is Audrey. This is a new...site? Newsletter? I don't know. I ran a music blog from like 2010 or 2011 to let's just call it 2021 for an even decade, and now I want a different writing model.

My vision for Starkissed and Unburned is, at least at the outset here, like a music+ blog. Or music and media in general. Books I'm reading, thoughts I'm having, experiences...whatever. I want to write things and share them again in a space that isn't just IG stories or the shrinking footprint of Twitter or Bluesky/Threads, both of which have massive "what's my voice here?" energy. I thought about bringing back Ranting About Music! but I wanted a space separate that exists with me in transition.

Anyway, I hope to get a few music things up soonish and a few more things before year's end. See ya!
